What we collect
CAFO collects account details such as email, display name, username, home city, avatar URL, and profile bio. When you rate wings, we store the restaurant, score breakdown, tags, notes, and visit date you submit.
What is public
Profiles, usernames, display names, public bios, restaurant pages, and check-ins are public by design. CAFO is a community field guide, so check-ins are displayed and aggregated into restaurant scores. Your followers and the people you follow are public. You can hide your home city from public profile pages in Settings. Profile maps are not public in this version.
Location and maps
We use restaurant coordinates to show maps. If browser location is added later, it will be used to center nearby wings, not to build a private movement history.
Analytics and errors
CAFO uses anonymous-first PostHog analytics and Sentry error monitoring. PostHog is configured without persistent user identifiers wherever possible. Neither tool is used to sell ads or track people across the web. We do not sell personal data, and scores are never for sale.
Cookies
CAFO uses cookies strictly to maintain your login session via Supabase Auth. No advertising cookies, no third-party tracking pixels. Because no advertising or cross-site tracking is involved, no cookie consent banner is shown. If this ever changes, this policy will say so.
Deletion and export
You can delete your account in Settings → Danger Zone. Your profile is removed; your check-ins stay as anonymous data points so restaurant scores do not collapse. You can also download everything CAFO has on you — profile and all check-ins — from Settings → Privacy & Data.

Who can use CAFO
You must be at least 13 years old to use CAFO. Keep your account accurate and do not use CAFO to impersonate people or businesses.
Your content
You own the check-ins, notes, and profile content you submit. You give CAFO a worldwide, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, summarize, and aggregate that content in the app, on public pages, and in generated share cards.
Acceptable use
Do not submit spam, abuse, illegal content, malicious links, or content that is not about wings or the places serving them. We may remove content or terminate accounts that abuse the service.
Service availability
CAFO is provided as-is. We will try to keep it reliable, but we do not promise that it will always be available or error-free.
Content removal
For DMCA or other content-removal requests, contact support@cafowings.com with the relevant URL and enough detail to evaluate the request.
